NOW THAT-SA NICE-A CHOIR!

You blew me away in a serious way.
Clearly, my expectations were too meagre.
I repent.

I call your attention to some notes from a faithful chorister who jots down stuff we learn and reminds me of them.  :)
Thank you Toni, for taking on that job again and doing it justice.

Homework!
Practice ‘Wexford Carol’ and ‘Magnificat’

Joy Has Dawned/Angels We Have Heard on High:
  • Pg 5 – note repeat @ v. 3a (i.e. go back to bar 105 and sing v. 2)
  • ‘Excelsis’ – pronounced ‘egg shells’
  • ‘deo’ – note syncopated rhythm
  • Sopranos:  bar 105, ‘we have’ – note: syncopated
O Come All Ye Faithful:
  • Bar 13: ‘angels’ – not traditional notes
  • V. 3, bar 33: ‘highest’ – not traditional notes

Make it a habit to visit the blog after every rehearsal -- mark up your music if you haven't already done so, then we'll always be on the proverbial 'same page'.
The polls are up for you to decide whether we change the rehearsal date for Thanksgiving Monday to Wednesday, October 15 OR Thursday, October 16.

The other decision to be made by democratic vote is whether to keep rehearsal times at 7:30-9:30pm or change it up to 7:00pm - 9:00 pm

Cast thine vote.
