- Carol of the Bells (rehearsal track available!)
- Fullness of Grace (rehearsal track available!)
- Jesus, Joy of the Highest Heaven (chart only)
I had to convert the pdf into a jpeg in order to import into the blog. But now, (according to my very limited experience with these things) you can't pull it back out to make yourself a copy. Fullness of Grace is SIX pages! -that baby is simply gonna have to wait.
Two options: I send the pdf's to all eager beavers personally via email OR you wait to get your hard copy at next rehearsal.
I am unable to upload an audio file to the blog. Unless my uber-technically-savvy friend comes to my rescue you will have to wait till next rehearsal for that too. :( #sonotmygift
Hot off the press from the Getty Office...
There will be one more installment of familiar Christmas carols sent out on October 16th along with the 1st draft of the set list. We're anticipating 3 more songs at the moment, but the set will be finalized at our 1st band rehearsal on October 14th. Thanks for your patience!
Children's Choir Possibility:
We would like to look into the possibility of using Children's choirs at each concert on the Christmas tour.
They would participate in the following songs:
Carol of the Bells (singing the soprano/alto lines)
Jesus, Joy of the Highest Heaven
Joy has Dawned / Angels we have Heard on High
Hark! The Herald-Angels Sing
Please let us know if your church has a children's choir capable of participating. The number of songs is negotiable, though we strongly encourage participation on the entire set, as it is the end of the 2nd half and will flow very smoothly with the children staying on throughout.
Do we have a capable children's choir she asks??? Ha!
Which reminds me, if you have elementary age jewels who want to share the stage on November 28 - please make yourself known via email.
Hope you're enjoying the Christmas CD and singing along with great gusto (and sensitivity of course!) With the soundtracks on my iPod, we'll soon spend all our rehearsals singing karaoke.
*yawn*
... a huge post requiring a nap :)
If you're that eager beaver who wants all the pdf's in advance, contact me by email.
